Thank you for purchasing a PNY Attaché® USB Flash Drive with U3 Smart Technology. Some
Windows® 2000 users may experience an error when trying to eject their drive from the U3
LaunchPad; this is not a known issue in other operating systems.
Should you get this, the following instructions will assist you in eliminating the error:

For Windows® 2000 Users only:
The following error message may occur during some instances of attempting to eject the drive:

In order to properly eject the drive from the system please perform the following steps:
1. Close all U3 applications running.

2. Go to My Computer and right click on the CD Drive labeled “U3 System.” Click on Eject.
|

3. The U3 System drive should now read Compact Disc.
|
4. The drive can now be properly ejected from Launchpad by clicking on the Launchpad icon in the system tray and then pressing Eject.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
We are working on a method to upgrade your drive to a later version of the U3
Launchpad which should eliminate this issue. When this information is available,
it will be posted here, so please check back at your convenience.
